355th FW commander to give statement on D-M Airman's death

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz -- Col. John Cherrey, 355th Fighter Wing commander, is scheduled to give a statement regarding the death of Capt. Nathan J. Nylander today at 12:45 p.m. at the Craycroft Gate Visitors' Center.

Capt. Nylander was killed April 27 during a shooting at Kabul International Airport, Afghanistan.

Media are invited to attend and should be in place at the visitors' center by no later than noon. However, media are advised the commander will not field any questions following the statement.
