D-M runway reopening following routine maintenance Published April 25, 2011 By 030411 DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- D-M will reopen its runway beginning April 27 following completion of routine maintenance. The closure affected fixed wing aircraft only, which includes A-10s, EC-130s, HC-130s, F-16s, and Customs and Border Patrol aircraft. As many of D-M's flying missions return from Tucson international Airport and other locations, Tucson residents will notice a return to routine flying operations.
