A Chance For Media To Fly With The Thunderbirds

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Tucson media are encouraged to nominate a representative from their outlet for a possible media flight with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds on March 19.

The goal of a media flights is to showcase the capabilities of modern high-performance aircraft, as well as demonstrate the pride and professionalism of Air Force personnel.

Media who have previously flown with the Thunderbirds, Blue Angels or in an Air Force fighter will be automatically disqualified.

Selection will be based on media outlets that have the most reach within the Tucson area.

Nominations will be provided to the Thunderbirds for final selection and the media flight will only be offered on a mission-availability basis.
