Thunderbird No. 8 to Visit D-M

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- The 355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs office will host a media event with U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron team member Maj. John Gallemore, "Thunderbird No. 8," Jan. 5.

Media personnel will have the opportunity to interview, photograph and video Major Gallemore at 10 a.m.

Major Gallemore flies the No. 8 jet and is the team's advance pilot and narrator.

As the teams advance pilot, Major Gallemore flies to each air demonstration site, prior to their scheduled performance, to ensure all arrangements are made for the performance.
