DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Arizona -- The Arizona Air National Guard’s 214th Attack Group will conduct a routine training flight with an MQ-9 Reaper aircraft from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base on Mar. 10. The 214th Attack Group is a geographically separated unit of the 162nd Wing.
This flight is a standard continuation training exercise and is not an operational mission. The Civil Air Patrol will be supporting this event. These training missions are essential for maintaining the highest levels of proficiency and ensuring our forces are prepared to meet national defense objectives.
Headquartered at Morris Air National Guard Base in Tucson, Arizona, the 162nd Wing is the largest Air National Guard fighter wing in the country. Its missions include training U.S. and partner nation F-16 pilots and operating the MQ-9 Reaper through its geographically separated unit, the 214th Attack Group, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
