D-M Disposes of Unexploded Ordnance Today Published Oct. 7, 2015 By 021015 DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- In support of Tucson's Bomb Squad, the 355th Civil Engineer Squadron's Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit will safely dispose of the unexploded elements of the ordnance on base between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. today. This disposal will be conducted in a controlled location but might be very loud. Davis-Monthan's EOD responded to the 600 block of East 36th Street in support of Tucson Police Department's Bomb Squad after reports of an explosion on Sept 23. D-M EOD maintains a formal partnership with the TPD Bomb Squad to ensure expedited response time throughout Tucson at any time.
