Media invited to ANGEL THUNDER training exercise

Media are invited to cover a joint training exercise between the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army, Swedish Rangers and French Air Force May 7.

Pararescuemen from the 48th Rescue Squadron will be embedded with Swedish Rangers and U.S. Army while conducting Alternate Insertion and Extraction training with the French EC-735 Caracal Helicopter.

Show time for media interested in the event will be 11:15 a.m. at the Craycroft gate.

This training exercise is part of ANGEL THUNDER, the largest and most realistic joint service, multinational, interagency combat search and rescue exercise designed to provide training for personnel and recovery under incredible circumstances.
