D-M hosting F-16 unit from Texas and A-10 unit from Michigan in April, May

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Air National Guard F-16 Fighting Falcons from Texas and A-10 Thunderbolt II from Michigan will operate here for intermittent periods this month and into mid-May.

Twelve F-16s from the Texas Air National Guard are scheduled to operate here 6-18 April.

Ten A-10s from the Michigan Air National Guard are scheduled to operate here 23 April through 17 May.

These units will be conducting mandatory readiness and proficiency training in the optimal weather conditions and ample military training ranges of Southern Arizona.
