HC-130J simulator ribbon cutting

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new HC-130J Simulator Training Facility will be held here Oct. 30. at 10 a.m.

This is the first fully functional HC-130J Simulator for Air Combat Command, the higher headquarter to D-M.

Col. Kevin Blanchard, 355th Fighter Wing commander and Col. Sean Choquette, 563rd Rescue Group commander will be cutting the ribbon.

The Air Force awarded the contract to produce a training simulation platform to accurately reproduce the unique mission systems in the HC-130J Combat King II in 2009. The device was delivered to the 563d Rescue Group, Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona in 2013.
