D-M Airmen to be awarded the Purple Heart Published Aug. 21, 2013 By 040813 DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Three Airmen will be presented with Purple Hearts at a ceremony here at 3 p.m. Aug. 23. Maj. Richard Worcester, 355th Equipment Maintenance Squadron commander, will be presenting the medals to Airman 1st Class Michael Kristopik, Airman 1st Class Garron Reeves and Airman 1st Class Tyler Angelo at the base theater. The Airmen are receiving the Purple Heart for wounds received in action while deployed to Afghanistan.
