Largest U.S. military helicopter to visit D-M this week

Davis-Monthan Air Force Base welcomes six U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters from Marine Heavylift Helicopter Squadron 465 out of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., March 19-27.
While here the helicopter pilots will conduct desert mountainous terrain training at Southern Arizona's many outstanding military training ranges. The training will prepare crews for missions they may be called on to accomplish while deployed overseas.
