Airmen from the 36th Operational Support Squadron and the 11th Combat Air Base Squadron (CABS) conducted integration training at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Oct. 2, 2025, strengthening coordination between air traffic controllers and expeditionary air base operators. The hands-on session utilized flight simulators and radar systems to replicate real-world air traffic management challenges, allowing 11th CABS Airmen to refine their Command and Control (C2) and Base Operating Support–Integration (BOS-I) capabilities. This is just one example of the several ways 11th CABS Airmen integrated with the 36th Wing while stationed in Guam for the last chunk of their six-month deployment to the Pacific in support of the 11th Air Task Force, the first U.S. Air Force air task force to deploy. Throughout this time, the 11th ATF functioned as a deployable, self-sustaining force, showcasing its adaptability and capability to operate similarly to a traditional Air Force wing.
