DAVIS-MONTHAN AIRFORCE BASE, Ariz. -- The 305th Rescue Squadron at Davis-Monthan AFB recently completed a demanding two-week Air Combat Maneuvering (ACM) block, culminating in four days of training with professional adversary air organizations, Aug. 5, 2026.
This crucial training focused entirely on HH-60W survivability against advanced, airborne threats. Operating out of Davis-Monthan AFB, our aircrews put the Jolly Green II's survivability to the test in high-threat environments, going head-to-head against:
• Top Aces Aggressors flying F-16s
• MCAS Yuma's VMFT-401 "Snipers" flying F-5s
With this most recent block of training in the books, the 305 RQS is fully optimized, lethal, and ready for the modern fight.
