Are you looking for something fun and inexpensive to do with your free time? The 355th Force Support Squadron Outdoor Recreation Center provides a program for Airmen to do just that.

The Single Airmen Initiative is an Air Force-wide program endorsed by the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force.

The 355th FSS offers a wide variety of activities at low cost to the Airmen of D-M through the SAI program. Some activities the program offers are bowling parties and clinics, cooking classes, tandem skydiving, indoor rock climbing, horseback riding, all terrain vehicle adventures, high ropes course and much more.

"I think people enjoy getting the trips at a low cost," said Rikki Rossow, 355th FSS recreation specialist. "They get to socialize and make new friends. They also get something to keep them busy on weekends."

The SAI program offers at least one event a month.

The program is targeted to single active-duty or reserve officers and enlisted members without dependants. However, the program is open to all patrons authorized to use FSS programs.
