April: National Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month
The month of April is recognized as National Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month, a time to acknowledge the importance of families and communities working together and learning to prevent child abuse and neglect, and to promote the social and emotional well-being of children and families. This year's theme at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., is "Make meaningful connections…One ribbon at a time." (U.S. Air Force Graphic by Airman 1st Class Chris Massey)
