Casualty combat training

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jason Hughes a pararescueman also known as PJ (para-jumper) assigned to the 306th Rescue Squadron (Pararescue/Guardian Angels) at Davis-Monthan AFB Ariz., provides medical treatment during simulated mass casualty combat training scenario July 30, 2014. Hughes is working alongside PJs from the Alaska Air National Guard at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The PJs are responsible for providing emergency and lifesaving services to military members and civilians in both peacetime and combat environments, they go behind enemy lines before anyone else to set on a drop zone/air field and help call in fire support.
