55th RQS participate in search and rescue exercise

U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Jaron Jablonski, 55th Rescue Squadron HH-60G Pave Hawk co-pilot, participated in a search and rescue exercise at Outlaw/Jackal military operations area in southeastern Ariz., Sept. 15, 2016. During the exercise, Jablonski played the role of an ejected pilot near enemy forces who must incorporate skills used from survival, evasion, resistance and escape until rescue assets arrive. In order to be found, Jablonski had to remain in constant communication with rescue assets and coordinate with the 55th Rescue Squadron to execute a successful extraction.
