An A-10C Thunderbolt II assigned to the 354th Fighter Squadron, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., receives fuel from a KC-135R Stratotanker from the 91st Air Refueling Squadron, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., during the Cactus Flag exercise over southeastern Ariz., Nov. 15. 2016. During the exercise, the 355th Fighter Wing amps up the operations from a normal four-to-five hour training day to at least eight hours, preparing the pilots for deployment and testing the units readiness and compliance.
