Combat Kings to the Refuel
A U.S. Air Force HH-60G Pave Hawk, assigned to the 56th Rescue Squadron, receives fuel from an HC-130J Combat King II, assigned to the 79th RQS, during an air-to-air refueling training mission over southern Europe, Nov. 13, 2019. With HAAR capabilities, HH-60s have the ability to fly long distances without landing, extending the combat radius for pilots on complex missions.
