RQG Alaska TDY

Pararescuemen from the 48th Rescue Squadron were airdropped skis from the 79th RQS to train on glacier travel and rescue at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, from Feb. 7-20, 2021. The 48th RQS and 79th RQS from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, integrated with Alaska Air National Guard units, 210th RQS, 211th RQS and 212 RQS, for cold weather operations.
