Green Flag-West rolls out Agile Combat Employment with austere, A-10 Thunderbolt II operations
Several A-10 Thunderbolt II pilots, Joint Tactical Control Party Airmen and U.S Army Soldiers plan out daily operations during Green Flag West 22-03 at Fort Irwin, California, Jan. 19, 2022. Green Flag exercises hosted by the 549th Combat Training Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, utilizes the Agile Combat Employment concept and Joint All-Domain Operations, which complicates the enemy’s targeting process, creates political and operational dilemmas for the enemy, and creates flexibility for friendly forces.
