D-M team competes in first-ever FM innovation contest finals

Staff Sgt. Donald Jegede, a financial analysis supervisor from the 355th Comptroller Squadron at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, pitches his team’s “Lightning FM” proposal at the inaugural Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center Financial Management Innovation Rodeo May 11, 2026, at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. Teammate Senior Airman Willie Mitchell also provided information about the problems their innovation could solve. Four teams competed in the finals, and the winner will have their innovation further developed and fielded across the Department of the Air Force to improve FM programs and processes.
