DM Airmen partner to safely relocate an Africanized bee colony
U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 355th Wing Safety Office, 355th Civil Engineer Squadron Pest Management and a volunteer beekeeper work together to remove an Africanized bee colony from beneath a toddler playground at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, June 15, 2026. The effort directly impacted hundreds of children who regularly use the playground and reinforced the wing’s commitment to taking care of Airmen and their families.
