DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- The 355th Wing will be conducting an emergency response exercise, Sep. 13 – 16.
Surrounding communities may hear sirens or the Giant Voice Mass Notification System during this time as part of the exercise.
The purpose of this exercise is to evaluate the installation’s readiness to emergency response and capabilities.
Personnel and base visitors can expect to see temporary changes to Force Protection Conditions and increased security measures at various locations across the installation.
Activities and impacts that can be expected include:
- Delays at installation gates for inbound and outbound traffic
- Base lockdowns
- Security Forces and Fire Department responses to exercise events
- Customer service delays at 355th Wing facilities
