D-M Airmen to be awarded the Purple Heart

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Three Airmen will be presented with Purple Hearts at a ceremony here at 1 p.m. July 11.

Maj. Richard Worcester, 355th Equipment Maintenance Squadron commander, will be presenting the medals to Airman 1st Class Michael Kristopik, Airman 1st Class Garron Reeves and Airman 1st Class Tyler Angelo at the Mirage Club in the Santa Rita Tucson rooms.

The Airmen are receiving the Purple Heart for wounds received in action while deployed to Afghanistan.
