D-M slated to hold memorial service for Airman

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz -- Master Sergeant Gabriel Garza, 33, was pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Hospital June 23.

"The entire Desert Lightening Team mourns the loss of Master Sergeant Garza," said Col. Michael Rawls, 355th Fighter Wing vice commander. "We are extremely saddened by the tragic loss of a great American and our prayers and sympathies are with the Garza family and friends."

Garza died from Cardiac Arrest.

A memorial will be held at the Desert Dove Chapel here, at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 26.
