Open House media day scheduled for April 12

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Several aerial demonstration teams will make themselves available for media access, including plane-side interviews, Thursday, April 12, in advance of D-M's Thunder and Lightning over Arizona open house.

Media opportunities will begin at 2 p.m. with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and will be immediately followed by the Hometown Hero Flight. Other performers will be available for interviews.

Media interested in attending should RSVP to the 355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs office at 228-3406 no later than 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 9. Showtime at the Craycroft Gate Visitors' Center will be Thursday at 1 p.m. Media who will attend are required to provide date of birth, social security number, and driver license number as part of the new Depart of Defense base access procedures.

Showtime for all opportunities will be at the Craycroft Gate Visitors' Center at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 12.
