Arizona Air Guard to perform Veterans Day F-16 flybys Published Nov. 10, 2009 By 031109 TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona Air National Guard's 162nd Fighter Wing based at Tucson International Airport is scheduled to conduct F-16 flybys Wednesday, Nov. 11, over five Veterans Day celebrations in Southern Arizona. The flybys, which will consist of a four-aircraft formation, are scheduled to take place over the following events at the corresponding times: . Sahuarita - Veterans Day Program, Green Valley Mortuary & Cemetery, 9:45 a.m. . Nogales - Veterans Day Parade, downtown, 10:10 a.m. . Douglas - Veterans Day Parade, G Avenue, 10:45 a.m. . Sierra Vista - Veterans Day Recognition, Veterans Memorial Park, 10:20 a.m. . Tucson - Pascua Yaqui Tribe Veterans Day Parade, Reservation Veterans Cemetery, 11 a.m. Exact times are subject to change. The 162nd Fighter Wing conducts flybys at Air Force-approved patriotic observances honoring the service of American men and women who have served their country in uniform.
