355th Fighter Wing, Daedalians recognize those who serve

DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- A "Wall of Honor" will begin being established at 1:30 p.m. April 30 here as a fraternity of military pilots joins with the 355th Fighter Wing to recognize those who serve.

The Order of Daedalians has worked in conjunction with wing officials to construct a brick monument located in the base's newly revitalized Heritage Park.

The monument will be comprised of individually engraved and personally dedicated bricks. Money raised from the dedication fees for the bricks will go to the site's long-term upkeep.

The area also includes numerous historical aircraft and a POW/MIA display.
