DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- Airman 1st Class Taleah Natasha Reese, assigned to the 55th Rescue Generation Squadron, died following a single-vehicle accident on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base on July 4, 2026.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided immediate medical assistance. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Airman 1st Class Reese," said Col. Jose Cabrera, 355th Wing commander. "She was a valued member of our Rescue Wing team, and her passing is felt across our community. Our heartfelt condolences are with her family, friends and teammates during this incredibly difficult time. We remain committed to caring for our Airmen and supporting all those affected by this tragic loss."
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
