Commercial vehicle delays at South Wilmot Gate require strict escort coordination

To mitigate severe inspection delays, all base personnel escorting commercial deliveries at the South Wilmot Gate must be physically present at the inspection bay prior to the vehicle's arrival.

Commercial and contractor vehicles require escorts to be enter the base after search is complete. When escorts fail to arrive at their scheduled times, commercial vehicles are forced to idle. This bottleneck occupies limited physical inspection space, directly delaying the search process for all other arriving commercial traffic.

To resolve these delays, base personnel and commercial drivers must proactively coordinate exact arrival windows. Once a vehicle's search is completed, any vehicle delayed for more than 30 minutes due to escort absence will be turned away and required to re-enter the search queue.
