Welcome Home Party Published Sept. 2, 2015 By 040815 DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. -- D-M invites all local Tucson media to cover the Welcome Home Party for D-M's Airmen and their families, Sept. 3 at 12 p.m. Local organizations and Tucson volunteers have shown their overwhelming support for D-M's Airmen by putting together a 'Welcome Home' event after the largest deployment since World War II. The welcome home party is scheduled from 12 - 4 p.m. to thank an expected 5,000 airmen and their families. The community has donated food and drinks, and put on entertainment such as live music and outdoor activities, jumping castles, corn hole tournaments and games. Media should RSVP to 520-228-3406 or 355WGPA@US.AF.MIL and arrive at 11:30 a.m. at the Craycroft Gate. The media event will last for one hour and reporters will have the opportunity to interview D-M's recent deployers.
