D-M is partnering with the Tucson VA, local emergency response agencies, and local area hospitals to conduct a natural disaster exercise Nov. 3-5.

During this exercise, a natural disaster on the California coast requires patients to be flown into Ariz. for treatment.

D-M will stage its runway to receive and triage patients who are flown into Tucson.  The VA will provide patient transportation to the VA and other local area hospitals.

Media are invited to cover the simulated patient movement between the C-130J 'Hercules' and the flight line.

There will be an opportunity to interview two of the D-M exercise planners, who can talk about their extensive coordination with the Tucson community.

Showtime at the Swan gate will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Please contact the 355th Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office at (520) 228-3406 to RSVP to this event.
