U.S. Marine Corps and Air National Guard units train from D-M this month

Davis-Monthan Air Force Base will host three U.S. Marine Corps units and one Air National Guard unit this month. 

* Two F-5 Tiger IIs from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma are scheduled to operate out of D-M 1 October, participating in dissimilar air combat training with Davis-Monthan A-10s.  

* Three F-16 Fighting Falcons from the Arizona Air National Guard are scheduled for 10-17 October, conducting training throughout the southern Arizona region and into New Mexico.

* Six KC-130J Super Hercules' from Marine Corps Air Station Miramar are scheduled for 14-24 October, conducting training throughout the southern Arizona region. 

* Two KC-130s from Marine Forces Reserve out of New York are scheduled for 20-24 October, participating in training with the 563rd Rescue Group.   

These units will be conducting training in nearby military operations areas.  During their visits, the pilots will adhere to all Davis-Monthan arrival and departure procedures and noise abatement procedures.
